Clients Score Coastal Healthcare Consulting 99.7% Overall For Clinical Implementation Supportive Services In Recent KLAS Report

Coastal Healthcare Consulting (Coastal), a provider of information technology consulting and training services for hospitals, today announced that the recently published KLAS Enterprises (KLAS) research report measuring professional services firm performance for clinical implementation supportive services showed Coastal with a 99.7% overall performance score. Coastal’s overall score of 99.7%, based on a 100-point scale, represents an extremely high level of client satisfaction for Coastal’s implementation services.
Coastal’s score was published in the December 2010 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services report released by KLAS. The score is based on direct performance feedback received from healthcare providers who have used Coastal’s consulting expertise and resources for a portion of a healthcare information systems implementation or upgrade project over the past 13 months.
In addition, the KLAS report stated that Coastal provided full disclosure of its clients to KLAS by providing a comprehensive list of all current clients for participation in the research study. However, since Coastal did not meet the minimum number of client implementations in which the measurable portion of the work had been completed, they were not eligible for ranking in the Clinical Implementation Supportive “Best in KLAS” category for 2010. Coastal has been a Best in KLAS award recipient for Clinical Implementation Supportive projects for the last six consecutive years, from 2006 - 2009.
