2010 Pixie Awards Winners Announced
The Pixie Awards honors outstanding creativity in motion graphics, effects and animation. This is the fastest-growing area of the creative media, with 92% of all video productions now using one of these techniques.

Winners for the 2010 Pixie Awards, which recognizes outstanding creativity in motion graphics, effects and animation, have been announced. (See www. PixieAwards. com)
Winners included such firms as Animax, Cookie Jar, Dream Balloon Animation, Fresh TV, and J. J. Sedelmaier.
The Pixies are presented by the American Pixel Academy, (www. AmericanPixelAcademy. org) which was formed in 2008. Winners are judged by industry professionals. David E. Carter, the Executive Director of the American Pixel Academy, was editor of the Creativity Annual and founded the Telly® Awards.
According to a recent study, 92% of all video production now use motion graphics, effects or animation.
