New Product Turns Vacations Into Fundraisers
In January, 2005, YTB Travel & Cruises is launching a new product which will allow organizations and churches to receive travel commissions whenever members/supporters travel! With minimal effort an ongoing fundraiser such as this can bring in thousands per year!

Illinois-based YTB Travel & Cruises has expanded its operations to include two new divisions: Association Travel Division and Corporate Travel Division. The Association Travel Division product will rollout January 2, 2005. This new product is a revolutionary way for organizations to raise money.
Certified Association Travel Consultants throughout the United States and Puerto Rico will assist organizations in setting up a customized, full-service online travel booking engine. Bookings can be made for air, car rental, hotels, vacation packages, cruises, Euro rail passes, golf tee times nationwide, weekly condo rental worldwide, tickets to sporting events, concerts, Vegas shows, and more. Prices are typically comparable to or below other well-known travel booking engines. Other customizable, commissionable packages will also be available.
YTB will donate 40% of all travel commissions generated through the booking engine back to the Association. This will allow organizations to have a permanent, on-going fundraising source in place every day of the year, with minimal effort. YTB will handle all ticketing, bookkeeping, and commission tracking. The booking engine will also be equipped with a “back office” which will allow easy access for organizations to monitor travel and commission activity.
Organizations can easily raise thousands of dollars annually (based on size and member support) through the use of this product. Agents will assist organizations with marketing campaigns and provide ongoing support.
Eligible associations can be non-profit or for-profit and include churches, service, fraternal, health, alumni, political, environmental, charity, and educational organizations with minimum membership/supporter rosters of 1300.
The Corporate Travel Division Product will be available in the second quarter of 2005.
